The Girne American University
The Girne American University (GAU) was founded in 1985 as the first private higher education institution in Kyrenia and recently celebrated its 35th anniversary. The goal of the university since its foundation is to provide comprehensive Higher Education of American standards for students from different nationalities in North Cyprus.
GAU is the oldest university in the island of Cyprus, our location in Girne-Kyrenia, North Cyprus has links with the past. The University of Kyrenia
The University of Kyrenia was built as a maritime, air, and engineering university in 2013 and it is the first of its kind in Northern Cyprus. The university is poised to deliver excellent education at a very affordable price.
The University of Kyrenia was founded with the mission of “training critical and innovative research-focused scholars, who will create knowledge and value in an international educational background and who will develop an appreciation of ethical and moral values, with a sense of social responsibility”.
The roots of the University lie in the establishment of the first Maritime Studies Faculty in Cyprus at our sister university, Near East University, in 1978, and this history gives us thirty-five years of expertise in the fiel

ARKIN UNIVERSITY OF CREATIVE ARTS AND DESIGN (ARUCAD)
Founded in North Cyprus in 2017, Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) is a thematic art university that is wholly dedicated to the fields of art, design and communication. ARUCAD’s goal is to become one of the most reputable universities in art education, whereby its students continuously improve their creative productivity through interdisciplinary and cross-cultural programs based on traditional, modern and contemporary art teaching and learning, whilst adhering to the inseparable link of theory and practice.

Cyprus Science University

Cyprus International University(CIU)
Cyprus International University is governed by the Rectorate. The Rectorate leads the university, represents the university externally and coordinate the cooperation of university members internally. The Rectorate consists of the Rector, Vice-Rectors and General Secretary. The Rector is the Chair of Rectorate and is its spokesperson.
Starting with 81 students and 45 staff in 1997, CIU has shown a phenomenal growth by reaching to 22,000 students and over 1000 staff in only 24 years.
The Near East University
The Near East University, established in 1988, is located in Nicosia, capital of North Cyprus, and as an international higher education institution employing highly qualified staff, offers the most extensive undergraduate and postgraduate education opportunities to over 26 thousand students coming from over 100 countries. The Near East University has 20 faculties comprising 220 departments and programs, 8 graduate schools with around 218 graduate and postgraduate programs, and 3 high schools, 28 research institutes, and has several international memberships. The University is already a full member of the European University Association (EUA), International Association of Universities (IAU) within the body of UNESCO, International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP), Joint Commission International (JCI), the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), 118 other national and international institutions and foundations, and moreover, many more membership applications related to various disciplines are already in progress.
Akdeniz University
Akdeniz University was founded in 1982 in Antalya, and incorporated a number of higher education institutions in the West Mediterranean region of Turkey. In 1992 the units of Akdeniz University which were located in Isparta were transferred to Süleyman Demirel University, in 2006 the units in Burdur were transferred to Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, and in 2015 the units in Alanya were transferred to Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University.From its foundation to the present day, Akdeniz University has played a significant role which provides added value to the entire country from a starting point in the West Mediterranean region by implementing important activities of vital importance in the fields of education, research and development, and in the services it provides to society. Akdeniz University has put its signature on a list of outstanding successes in the fields of health, science, social development, education, language and arts at both the national and international level.
Akdeniz University has 69,030 students and 4,303 members of the academic and administrative staff.
Bahçeşehir Cyprus University(BAU)
Within the scope of BAU Global Education Network, there are hundreds of graduate, post graduate and doctorate programs in various fields such as art, architecture, social sciences, physical sciences, health sciences, and law. The students in this network can spend a semester, a year or two years in another campus, and they can even benefit from dual degree opportunities.
Administrative and academic staff exchange between the universities in the education network, as well as accreditation, is possible. Furthermore, specifically designed short-term (for a couple of weeks or a semester) courses and programs are organized in BAU’s academic centers for students. The education language across all universities within BAU Global Education Network is English. In order to provide our students that doesn’t have sufficient English proficiency with the best language education, the prep schools are incorporated to the universities and they also can send such students to two different language schools -which are located in Toronto and Washington D.C.- within BAU Global Education Network, providing the opportunity for our students to study their prep programs in Canada or United States .
Eastern Mediterranean University
With its highly developed infrastructure, prominent academic staff members, 16,000 students from 110 and 1,100 academics from 35 different countries, quality programs in English, the opportunity of learning a second foreign language, student exchange programs, rich sports, social and cultural activity opportunities, international accreditations, an international teaching context, and a diploma recognised throughout the world, EMU prepares its students for their international careers by educating them in becoming creative and competitive individuals with entrepreneurial skills.

Ada Kent Üniversitesi (Aku)
It is an education investment established in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2015 by the European Education Group, which has a history of more than thirty years and is headquartered in Istanbul with its international vision. It is the pinnacle of pre-school, primary, secondary and higher education experiences in Istanbul. Cyprus Island City University, which has made significant contributions to the economic, scientific, social and cultural development of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, has become the education and cultural center of the city in a short time by entering into strong cooperation with non-governmental organizations, private and official institutions in Famagusta, where it is located. .
Cyprus Island Kent University, with its distinguished academic staff consisting of academic members from Cyprus, Turkey and various countries of the world; It has been continuing its education at an international level for about 2 years, with 7 faculties and 1 vocational school, and 29 undergraduate and associate degree programs in total.
Cyprus West University
Cyprus West University is a non-profit university located in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus was established in 2015. Cyprus West University has 5 faculties, 3 schools, and 20 different undergraduate and associate programs are offered in English and Turkish Languages. Cyprus West University is recognized by YÖK, Turkish Republic Higher Education Board and YÖDAK, The Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and coordination Council of Northern Cyprus, and approved by TRNC Ministry of National Education and Culture.
